Strawberry Oat Breakfast Shake

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • ½ cup rolled oats (gluten-free if you’re avoiding gluten)
  • 1 Tbsp ground flax
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 Tbsp maple syrup (or any liquid sweetener of your choice)
  • ½ tsp lemon juice
  • zest from ¼ lemon
  • ¼ tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1 tsp unsweetened coconut flakes, optional for garnish

Instructions

  • Add everything to your blender and blend until smooth
  • Alternately, add the oats to the blender first and grind them fine. Then add the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
