The Beautifully Bold Coffee Smoothie

Ingredients

  • 1 banana, preferably frozen
  • 2 medjool dates, pitted
  • ½ cup cold-brew coffee (brewed coffee that has been chilled is also great)
  • ½ - 1 scoop protein powder, optional
  • ¼ cup raw cashews, preferably soaked overnight
  • 3 Tbsp old-fashioned oats, preferably soaked overnight
  • 1 Tbsp unsweetened cocoa powder
  • pinch of ground cardamom
  • pinch fine-grain sea salt
  • ½ cup ice + more depending upon the consistency you prefer

Instructions

  • In your blender, purée the banana, dates, coffee, cashews, protein powder, oats, cocoa powder, cardamom, sea salt
  • Add ice and blend until smooth
