What I Always Have in My Kitchen

Do you have a signature something that makes your kitchen .. yours?

For me it's flowers

I can't remember a time I didn't have flowers somewhere on the counter.  They make me terribly happy

As money has ebbed and flowed throughout the years, flowers in my office, or other parts of the house for that matter, have been optional.  But never in the kitchen.

My very favorite place to buy them?  Trader Joe's.

If I'm anywhere even near Des Moines, it's a mandatory stop.  Throughout the years I've come home with Gerber daisies, sunflowers, roses, herbs, orchids, and everything in between.
