Learning To Cook

My journey has seen its fair share of ups as well as downs

In the early years I it was a complete crap shoot.  I oscillated between being thrilled with what I made and other days I was convinced my young family would starve.

As I've gotten older my skills have matured.  But really, is there ever a “I've arrived moment?”

I hope not, because the learning process is a heck of a lot of fun.  Forever a new technique, kitchen gadget, or recipe to try

The other day I came across a series of how-to videos on Saveur.com.  Believe me, I'll take any tips I can get, and I especially loved this one about peeling garlic

Pretty cool, huh?  I think,  in the next couple of weeks, I'll give it a try and make this!

    This is an absolute must to try. I sense many garlic dishes on the horizon.
