Happy Saturday!

excited for the opening day of the farmer's market.
I'm looking forward to some more planting in the garden. True confessions, I've never been much of a gardener. Every summer I'll buy a few herbs to try: basil, rosemary, mint, but they never seem to make it.
This year though I'm changing all of that; an offer to my neighbor (who has a huge garden), one that she couldn't refuse. I'll pay a portion of the cost and take care of all the weeding, in exchange for a summer's worth of veggies.
She's been patiently showing me the ropes. My only requests? Pretty annuals for our kitchen's windowsill, and catnip
This weekend I also want to wish the happiest of Mother's Days to all mothers, mothers-to-be, and mothers-at-heart. Thank-you for who you are, and all that you do
I hope you have a good one
If you live in Iowa, Remain Gardens is having their annual plant sale this weekend. I went today and my goodness, do they ever have a lot of fun things(!) It feels summery to have pots of color outside our front door

Have you ever visited an indoor trampoline park? I hadn't either until this week when my daughter and grandson invited me on a date(!) Trampolines as far as the eye could see. We had so much fun, and all of that jumping around was a heck of a workout
