A recipe then

It's an easy one; and a nutritious one and requires five minutes and a blender.  No knots.  No excuses.  No explanations.

It's also simple, sexy, and clever.

Berries and chocolate are like Fred and Ginger, quite a beloved pair.  Protein powder, hemp seeds, and greens to make this smoothie especially nutrient-dense.  The combination of banana and nut milk make it oh-so-creamy.

Berry Protein Power Smoothie - Berries and chocolate are a beloved pair. Protein powder, hemp seeds & greens to make this smoothie especially nutrient dense

I like to dress it up a bit when I make it at home, with maybe a few berries or a pinch of bee pollen sprinkled on top.

Know it's just as tasty, and you're just as sexy, whether you happen to drink it from your husband's coffee mug, your toddler's sippy cup, or in your water bottle on your way to the office

Wishing for you the happiest of Wednesdays

Enjoy!

xoxo

I love a smoothie after a good workout. Berry ones are my favorite cos there’s the extra benefit of all those anti-oxidants.

Your smoothie looks really good. I love berries and kale has a bit of a bite to it, but I will give it a try. I usually use spinach in my smoothies but I can make a change once in a while.

As a busy mom of 2 toddler, I’m often looking for an easy way to get my daily servings of fruit and veggies. I’ve found smoothies to be my go-to breakfast options and this one looks like a terrific one. I would even toss in some spinach leaves to get some greens.

  • Reply Yaya May 15, 2017 at 1:55 pm

I haven’t proactively made any smoothies using berry and chocolate, but this one has me quite intrigued. I tend to find berries a bit tart, but the chocolate seems like it will tone it down. Yum!
